Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Education Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a proven track record in sales, with experience in selling educational products or services. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of AE’s educational offerings, building and maintaining relationships with customers, and achieving sales targets to support the continued growth and success of our institution.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities within the education sector, including schools, colleges, universities, and educational organizations, to promote Afer*Nova’s courses and academic programs.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to generate leads, nurture relationships, and close deals with prospective students, parents, educators, and institutional partners.
- Conduct outreach activities such as cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and educational fairs to prospect and qualify potential customers.
- Deliver presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of Afer*Nova’s educational offerings and address the needs and concerns of prospective clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the education market, including teachers, administrators, guidance counselors, and education consultants.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, promotional materials, and targeted marketing campaigns to support sales efforts and achieve revenue goals.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to prospective customers, negotiating terms and pricing as needed to close deals and meet sales targets.
- Track sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics, providing regular updates and reports to management to evaluate progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and potential challenges in the education sales landscape.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Education, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the education industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the education market, including knowledge of educational trends, curriculum standards, and challenges facing educators and students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, opportunities, and customer relationships.
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally as needed to meet with customers, attend events, and represent AE at conferences and trade shows.
