Internship Description: We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Education Sales Representative Intern at the Afer*Nova. This internship program is designed to provide students with valuable hands-on experience in sales within the education industry, as well as the opportunity to earn a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) certificate upon completion.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying and pursuing sales opportunities within the education sector, including schools, colleges, universities, and educational organizations, to promote Afer*Nova’s courses and academic programs.
- Support the development and implementation of sales strategies and tactics to generate leads, nurture relationships, and close deals with prospective students, parents, educators, and institutional partners.
- Participate in outreach activities such as cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and educational fairs to prospect and qualify potential customers.
- Shadow and support experienced Education Sales Representatives in delivering presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of Afer*Nova’s educational offerings.
- Learn to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the education market, including teachers, administrators, guidance counselors, and education consultants.
- Assist in the development of sales collateral, promotional materials, and targeted marketing campaigns to support sales efforts and achieve revenue goals.
- Gain exposure to preparing and delivering sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to prospective customers, and observe negotiations of terms and pricing.
- Learn to track sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics and provide support in evaluating progress and identifying areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Education, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in sales, particularly within the education industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and develop sales skills, including prospecting, lead generation, and relationship management.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Availability to commit to a minimum of 2 months internship duration.
