Internship Description: We are seeking a creative and driven individual to join our marketing team as a Social Media Marketing Specialist Intern at Afer*Nova. This internship program is designed to provide students with practical experience in social media marketing within the education sector, as well as the opportunity to earn a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) certificate upon completion.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and executing social media marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads for Afer*Nova’s courses and academic programs.
• Support the creation of engaging content for Afer*Nova’s social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, that resonates with our target audience and aligns with our brand voice and values.
• Learn to plan and schedule social media posts, campaigns, and promotions to ensure consistent and timely delivery of content across all platforms.
• Gain exposure to monitoring and responding to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media in a timely and professional manner, fostering positive interactions and building relationships with our audience.
• Assist in collaborating with the marketing team to develop social media advertising campaigns to reach targeted audiences and achieve specific marketing objectives.
• Learn to track and analyze social media performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts and identify areas for improvement.
• Gain exposure to staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing, content creation, and digital advertising.
• Assist in monitoring competitor activities and industry trends in social media to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in AE’s social media presence.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in social media marketing, particularly within the education or academic sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to craft compelling copy and visuals for social media posts and ads.
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and an ability to generate innovative ideas for social media content and campaigns.
• Basic proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and video editing software is a plus.
• Availability to commit to a minimum of two months internship duration.
