These Terms & Conditions form a legally binding agreement between AferNova London Academy of Excellence Ltd (“AferNova”) and the student (“Student”).
By enrolling on any AferNova programme, the Student agrees to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
By enrolling on an AferNova programme, the Student enters into a contractual relationship with AferNova London Academy of Excellence Ltd for the provision of educational services, delivered primarily online.
1. Programme Information
Afer*Nova delivers Level 7 Diplomas and professional development training. Programme details, learning outcomes, duration and assessment criteria are provided prior to enrolment.
AferNova reserves the right to make reasonable changes to programme content, delivery methods, assessment formats, tutors, or schedules where necessary to maintain academic standards, comply with regulatory requirements, or respond to operational needs. Such changes will not materially disadvantage the Student.
2. Admissions
Admission may be withdrawn if false, incomplete, or misleading information is provided, or if entry requirements are not met.
Afer*Nova may request documentation to verify identity and eligibility.
3. Fees & Payment Terms
All tuition fees must be paid before the programme start date unless an instalment plan is agreed.
Where instalments are approved, a Payment Schedule will be issued. Students must provide valid payment details and meet all due dates. Failure to pay may result in suspension of access to the Programme Learning Platform and full fees becoming immediately due.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Cooling-Off Period: Students may cancel within 14 days of purchase by emailing course@afernova.io. A full refund will be issued within 14 days using the original payment method.
No refunds will be issued after the 14-day period.

Students must ensure that all submitted work is their own and complies with AferNova’s academic integrity and acceptable use policies, including any guidance on the use of artificial intelligence tools.*
6. Afer*Nova Responsibilities
Afer*Nova will:
The minimum time period to complete the programme is 9 months. Programme Learning Platform access lasts up to 10 months. After this, access will be withdrawn without notice.
7. Deferrals
Students may request to defer their start date for up to three (3) months in cases of extenuating circumstances. Requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis and approval is subject to Afer*Nova’s discretion, acting reasonably.
8. Leave of Absence
A Leave of Absence of up to three (3) months may be granted in cases of extenuating circumstances. Supporting evidence may be required. Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and approval is subject to Afer*Nova’s discretion, acting reasonably.
9. Assessments & Certificates
Certificates are issued only after all fees are paid and identity is verified. Students must provide acceptable photo ID for verification. For detailed information, please see our privacy policy.
Digital certificates are included in the tuition fee; hard copies are requested for an additional fee.
Students must claim certificates within 3 months of course completion. Late claims may incur additional requirements or fees.
Delivery timeframes:
Lost or unclaimed certificates require a duplicate request and applicable fees.
10. Intellectual Property
All materials remain the exclusive intellectual property of Afer*Nova and must not be reproduced, distributed, or shared.
11. Data Protection
Data is processed in accordance with the AferNova Privacy Policy and UK GDPR. AferNova is the Data Controller.
12. Liability
Afer*Nova is not liable for indirect losses, business interruption, loss of income, delays caused by external parties, or events beyond reasonable control.
AferNova shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance of its obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemics, government restrictions, technical failures, industrial action, or failure of third-party service providers.
13. Third-Party Platforms and Services
AferNova may use third-party platforms and services to deliver learning content, assessments, communications, or payment processing. AferNova is not responsible for temporary service interruptions, outages, or technical issues arising from third-party providers.
14. Complaints
Complaints should be submitted to info@afernova.io. Afer*Nova aims to respond within 5 working days. Escalation details are provided upon request.
15. Changes
Afer*Nova may update these Terms & Conditions and related materials at any time.
Students will be notified of material changes.
16. Optional In-Person Teaching
Certain programmes may offer optional short-term in-person teaching, workshops, or academic activities in England, typically lasting one to two weeks.
Participation in any in-person activity is entirely optional and is not required to complete or pass any AferNova programme.
Students are responsible for arranging their own travel, accommodation, visas, insurance, and living expenses associated with any in-person attendance.
AferNova does not provide accommodation, campus facilities, or residential supervision.
During any in-person activity, Students must comply with all applicable laws, venue rules, health and safety guidance, and codes of conduct issued by AferNova.
Students attending any in-person activities must take reasonable care for their own health and safety and the health and safety of others. AferNova may refuse participation or require a Student to leave an in-person activity if their conduct is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate.*
17. Termination
AferNova may terminate a Student’s enrolment with immediate effect for serious or repeated breaches of these Terms & Conditions, including academic misconduct, non-payment of fees, misuse of learning materials, or abusive or unlawful behaviour.
Upon termination, access to the Programme Learning Platform will be withdrawn and no refunds will be issued.
18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions and any dispute arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
